Landlord's Super is a simulator that enables the players to take on the role of the title landlord. The game is set in Great Britain, in the 80s of the last century and we will find a lot of humor in it. The title was developed by Minskworks, known primarily for its funny game Jalopy. The publisher is The Yogscast (Caveblazers, Brunch Club).

Plot

Landlord's Super takes place in the fictional English county of West Berklands in the 1980s. The devs assure that the game enables us to understand English culture, although given the characteristic atmosphere and style of the title, the game should be treated more like a satire.

Mechanics

Our task in Landlord's Super is to acquire and refurbish a property and then lease it to customers while acting as a manager. We have the opportunity to experience a rather realistic construction process - we place bricks, mix the cement ourselves and construct scaffoldings to get to higher places. We observe all of this in FPP.

The game offers dynamic weather conditions, times of day and year as well as various types of events (including trade union problems). The player has the option to take various actions - there is even an option to explore locations or go to a bar to drown our sorrows in a pint of ale.

Game modes

Landlord's Super is based on single player mode; the game does not have any online module.

Technical aspects

Landlord's Super features three-dimensional visuals of modest quality. The game world is not very detailed, as are the character models and textures. The lighting system also leaves a lot to be desired. The whole thing is salvaged by a specific sense of humor, which permeats game from Minskworks. The attention is also drawn by faithfully reproduced American and British slang.
