An expansion to a tactical RPG by NeocoreGames. King Arthur: Legion IX has us playing as a Roman tribune, preparing his forces to invade Avalon. The DLC introduces a new story campaign and lets us lead a larger party to battle.
King Arthur: Legion IX is an expansion to the tactical RPG, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr.
Like the base game, King Arthur: Legion IX is set on the mystical island of Avalon. The kingdom must face an entirely new threat, as the Roman Legion IX has found its way there and is preparing to invade. The game's protagonist is a tribune, leading his forces, discovering the remains of a Roman colony in Avalon, following the trail of the Lady of the Lake.
The biggest new feature in King Arthur: Legion IX is the Roman campaign, in which we play as the tribune of Legion IX. New quests bring a new story and characters - both friends and enemies. The expansion also introduces new combat mechanics and lets us lead larger parties to battle.
King Arthur: Legion IX doesn't significantly change the visuals. The new Roman theming does however mean new units, weapons, armor, locations and architecture.
