A spin-off to Killing Floor, an FPS series developed by Tripwire Interactive. The game was made for Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch controllers. In Killing Floor: Incursion we play as a soldier of an elite unit, Horzine Security Forces, who along with their companions must face Zeds, a type of zombie known by fans of the series. The game is an FPS with very arcade gameplay.
The success of Killing Floor, a series of cooperative FPS, encouraged Tripwire Interactive studio to try their hands at virtual reality market and in June 2016 they announced Killing Floor: Incursion on PC Windows and Oculus Rift. The game was developed with Oculus Touch controllers in mind from the very beginning.
In Killing Floor: Incursion we play as a soldier of an elite unit, Horzine Security Forces, who along with their companions must face Zeds – zombie-like creatures. The game is an FPS with a very arcade gameplay. Our goal is to eliminate everything that moves and doesn't look like a human. To accomplish this task we use various weapons including knives, pistols and much more. During our exploration of grim locations (ghastly house in the middle of nowhere, factory, etc.) we can find weapons and ammo as well as many secrets regarding Zeds' origin.
The graphics are slightly worse than in Killing Floor 2, however, when compared to other VR games, they still look good – with diverse locations, various enemy types and more.
