Kengo is a typical three-dimensional fight. This time we take control over one of the title bushido warriors. In many ways, this title can be compared to the first-generation Bushido Blade games released on PlayStation. We are dealing here with the same manufacturer - Light Weight company, also known for such productions as Kabuki Warriors (Xbox). This item was created for PlayStation 2 owners only. What is interesting, this game has been continued in the following years.

Bushido Blade games were characterized by great realism of the game. It was necessary to anticipate the next moves of the opponent, derive appropriate counterpoints, as well as to move towards self-realized attacks. Many times there were situations in which an accurate hit ended the whole fight. An additional difficulty was the lack of a visible energy bar. The player had to assess his character's state of health on an ongoing basis. As a result, the game was not very accessible. In Kengo it was decided to give up most of these difficulties. First of all, the force of individual strokes was balanced. So there are no more situations in which the duel lasts only a few seconds. On the screen you can also see the health bars of the fighting characters. This does not mean, of course, that the battles are not complicated. The player can use many different types of strokes, effectively block the opponent, or combine consecutive strokes into impressive combos. Kengo in this respect seems to resemble many other three-dimensional battles.
