James Noir's Hollywood Crimes is an adventure game prepared by an internal game developer under Ubisoft company, located in Montreal. The creators decided to use the potential of Nintendo 3DS, serving players a lot of two- and three-dimensional puzzles, linked with a common plot.

The game is set in 1961, Hollywood. The main hero takes part in a game show called "The Incredible Puzzle Masters". Soon he discovers he got manipulated into a series of mysterious murders, behind which stands a puzzle-loving man. The player has to discover the identity of the killer, and above all, avoid deadly traps.

The gameplay in James Noir's Hollywood Crimes reminds of an interactive movie. The story unfolds along with your successes in solving puzzles. Game developers prepared up to 142 different types of puzzles – jigsaws, word games, drawing, mazes, and more. You can adjust their difficulty to suit your skills.
