Into the Pit

Mechanics

In Into the Pit we observe the action from a first person perspective (FPP). We explore small levels and eliminate hordes of enemies. During incredibly fast-paced battles, we use magic to kill opponents with a variety of spells, which the hero casts at machine-gun speed. The ability to use two spells simultaneously (one for each hand) encourages experimentation. In addition to the "cannon fodder", whose greatest strength is their numbers, from time to time powerful bosses stand in our way.

As we progress, we save the villagers, who, in gratitude for our help, open shops for us. Although death is permanent here, and after it we have to start the whole journey over again, the upgrades bought from neutral characters stay with us forever. This makes subsequent approaches to the game a bit easier and allows us to gradually increase the combat potential of the protagonist.

Technical aspects

Dark, but at the same time full of bright accents, Into the Pit graphics is kept in retro style, which can be seen mainly in pixelated textures.
