The ninth major expansion to a 2016 WW2 strategy game. Hearts of Iron IV: Trial of Allegiance is set in South America, having us lead new nations (such as Brazil, Argentina and Chile) to greatness.
Hearts of Iron IV: Trial of Allegiance is the ninth major expansion to Hearts of Iron IV, a 2016 grand strategy game. Once again, it was developed by Paradox Development Studio.
Hearts of Iron IV: Trial of Allegiance is set in South America, letting us play as the countries there, leading them in accordance to historical events or setting them down an entirely new path.
Among the new features in Hearts of Iron IV: Trial of Allegiance, the most major ones are three playable countries we can lead to a bright (or rotten) future. Each of them has their own tree of national goals.
Brazil grapples with internal conflicts and constitutional crises, Argentina with corruption and riots, while Chile with ethnic unrest and the rise of fascism; as well as increasing American interference.
It's up to us how those nations will react to World War II, who they'll side with and how they'll build their continental and global standing.
The DLC also introduces two more countries with a bit less content, those being Paraguay and Uruguay.
Hearts of Iron IV: Trial of Allegiance features new models and graphics of Brazilian units, as well as illustrations for the national goal trees. The game adds voice tracks in Brazilian Portuguese, Argentine and Chilean Spanish, as well as new songs.
