Mechanics

The mechanics of the game are based on typical system known from the the so-called "god games". The does not directly control every member of their church, but only shows them the path to follow. The main management system is a hierarchy of values, which determines which behaviors are accepted and which are sinful. For example, the player can spread the ideology of war, love, sacrifice, or honor among their believers, which will make the subjects more willing to take part in specific activities. The condemnation of promiscuity or greed will dissuade them from deviating from the recommended path.

As each option can be banned or sanctified, there is a wide variety of cults - for example, we can become a merciful god of peace, a bloodthirsty avatar of war worshipped by human sacrifices, an honorable personification of justice, or a Dionysian god who values splendor and fun. In addition to individual principles, the deity should also suggest to its subjects its religious rituals and monuments erected in its own honor. The most inspired of the tribe have a chance to become priests, the key to the religious education of the next generation and to the further development of the faith.

God can also use specific powers and skills. They are especially useful during sacraments, i.e. cultural wars with tribes of non-believers.
