Ghost of Yotei

The main antagonists here are not the Mongols, but a gang known as the Yotei Six. Sixteen years ago, its (Snake, Oni, Kitsune, Spider, Dragon and Lord Saito) murdered the protagonist's family, and left her for certain death. Atsu miraculously survived and fled from her homeland, only to return after years spent learning to fight, hunt, and kill, to exact revenge on her tormentors.

Gameplay

Ghost of Yotei is based on the pillars established by Ghost of Tsushima. We watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP) and explore the open world, completing main quests and side missions, participating in optional activities, and also fighting enemies. We can eliminate opponents in direct combat (our main weapon is a katana, which almost took Atsu's life years ago) or kill them silently.

The new setting is an opportunity for the creators of Ghost of Yotei not only to present previously inaccessible locations, but also to introduce new mechanics into our hands.

New features

The driving force of the game is hunting down individual gang . As part of the her investigations, Atsu follows the trail of individual criminals in order to catch them and take their lives. The game allows us to choose and complete goals in any order. Apart from the Yotei Six, there are other bandits waiting to be hunted here, for whose elimination we receive additional rewards.

Moreover, while traversing Ezo, we meet weapon masters who allow us to develop Atsu's combat-related skills. In addition, we can light a fire anywhere under the open sky, giving the protagonist a chance to catch her breath after the hardships of the journey. There are also retrospectives here that give us insight into Atsu's past.
