The fourth installment in the series of glamorous action games that focus on the war between humans and the dangerous race of Locust. Gears of War: Judgment for X360 is a new installment of the famous series developed by Epic Games Studios. The creative process of the game was aided by a Polish studio, People Can Fly – the developers of Painkiller and Bulletstorm.
Judgment takes place several years after the events from the first part of Gears of War series. The player takes on the role of Damon Baird, the leader of Kilo squad, made up of Augustus Cole, Garron, and Sophia. The team has been accused of war crimes - ignoring orders, which led to the death of many people. Baird, however, is not willing to rot in jail while the war with a vicious and ruthless race of Locust rages.
The game developers decided to introduce a few changes that make the solo campaign and multiplayer mode more attractive. Specifically these are changes to opponents spawning system and diversified variations of certain situations. Thanks to that, replaying the same mission may be interesting. Multiplayer has been enhanced with a game mode that combines Horde and Beast games and a few other additions (e.g. class-based gameplay).
