Forgotten 23 is an independent adventure game created by Polish solo developer Lucas S. Koval. Its action takes place at a research station and involves a recurring time loop of 23 minutes preceding a cosmic catastrophe.

Gameplay

The adventure emphasizing narration is presented in a top-down perspective. Controlling a solitary astronaut engineer, we strive to discover the reasons for the crew's disappearance and prevent the impending doom. For this purpose, we explore the abandoned corridors and modules of the enigmatic station, where due to a time loop, everything resets every 23 minutes.

The gameplay of Forgotten 23 involves exploration, operating computers and terminals, and analyzing crew logs. Additionally, we have to gather resources and craft useful items to repair the station. We manage systems and the power grid to properly distribute energy between different modules.

We also solve logic puzzles. Thanks to completing mini-games scattered throughout the station, we unlock new corridors and discover more secrets of the Forgotten.

Story

The protagonist of Forgotten 23 is Max Nowak, a talented engineer and astronaut. After an unexpected loss of communication, the Forgotten research station begins to drift out of orbit, threatening a disaster on the planet Proxima Centauri b. Nowak decides to prevent an accident.
