Fill-a-Pix: Phil's Epic Adventure

Fill-a-Pix: Phil's Epic Adventure, released on Switch, PS4, etc., is an interesting puzzle game in which we create pictures depicting different places in the world. The production is a loose continuation of Pic-a-Pix Deluxe published at the beginning of 2018. Fill-a-Pix: Phil's Epic Adventure was developed by the independent Lightwood Games studio (also known from Word Search Party) and Conceptis Ltd.

Mechanics

The gameplay in Fill-a-Pix: Phil's Epic Adventure consists of arranging images representing pictures taken by the game's narrator, Phil. The rules of play are quite simple, but this doesn't mean that the game is simple. Starting the game, we look at a crossword-like table, on which in many places there are numbers from 0 to 9. Each number tells us how many fields in a block of 9 squares (central with a number and 8 around it) should be colored black. Above, in a special window, we can see the picture slowly appearing thanks to our work. We will find more than a hundred different puzzles. The game also has a tutorial, which contains tips that can help us when we get stuck. Fill-a-Pix: Phil's Epic Adventure also s the Smart Cursor function, thanks to which the gameplay is extremely smooth and satisfying.
