PS4Blog.net: 8 / 10

Figment is a clever, fun, charming, and great looking adventure on Nintendo Switch that you should definitely play. The game might be a tad linear, but that only means you won't be taking on any unnecessary side-quests that could distract you from the story and your main objective: saving this mind from the nightmares. The game's hand-drawn look, the rhythmic sounds that will complement the action and welcome you to each new area you visit, and the funny songs that are showcased during boss fights will keep you coming back for more until you complete this 6-8 hour journey.

oprainfall: 3.5 / 5

Figment is the purest definition of “sleeper hit”. It was quietly announced for Switch a year ago and made its way out on all platforms last month, launching in a sea of quality goodness that has become the Switch’s weekly shtick. While Figment is short but sweet, the only bring-downs on offer are its lengthy load times, sometimes interminable puzzles, and a $20 price point that might be a touch too much for the run time. If you’re interested in taking a solid adventure with likable characters and a colorful style, Figment is a good fit for your action adventure indie needs.
