Evoland: Legendary Edition

Evoland Legendary Edition is a compilation of two original games marrying RPG, action and adventures game mechanics. The titles were developmed by the independent studio Shiro Games, which also created the warmly-received Northgard. While the idea for the first Evoland was born during the Ludum Dare 24 game jam, the second part of the series was created from the beginning as a commercial product.

Mechanics

Both items included in Evoland Legendary Edition are based on a similar formula, showing the evolution of video games, while at the same time paying tribute to iconic titles through a variety of references. At the beginning of the game, the games offer simple, two-dimensional graphics, and the player character has a very limited range of moves.
