Espresso Tycoon

Espresso Tycoon is a café simulator and an economic strategy game in which we must efficiently manage a business. It was developed by an indie studio DreamWay Games, also responsible for Ankh Tower and Dreamjob: Programmer. It was published by the Warsaw-based company PlayWay S.A., also known for Ninja Simulator. The game was awarded second place in the category Best Indie 2022. Players Choice during the 13th Indie of the Year, organized by IndieDB.

Mechanics

The game tasks us with managing a cafe - we are responsible for both its proepr functioning and its appearance. There are over a thousand pieces of decor to use, ranging from chairs and tables to plants, artwork and other special items. Each object has an attributed style value, which affects our establishment's overall attractiveness. Maintaining a pleasant atmosphere increases our number of regular customers and thus our sales.
