A soulslike TPP action RPG developed by Italian studio Jyamma Games. In Enotria: The Last Song we find ourselves in a fantastic land beset by a curse. In the course of the game, we play the role of a character whose task is to restore the old order and order in Enotria.
Enotria: The Last Song is a soulslike action RPG. The game was developed by Milan-based indie Italian studio Jyamma Games. This team has previously created several games of a smaller caliber, and the described title is its first major project.
Enotria: The Last Song takes us on a journey to a fantastic continent inspired by the culture and folklore of Italy. Years ago, this picturesque land was burdened with the curse of Canovaccio, which affected its inhabitants, turning them into empty shells. In the course of the game, we play the role of the so-called Force of Change - a character immune to the curse of Canovaccio. Our task is to deal with the curse, deal with those behind it, and as a result - to restore the old order and order in all of Enotria.
In Enotria: The Last Song, the action is observed from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game takes a handful of inspiration from the soulslike genre, so the clue of the gameplay is exploring various locations and fighting enemies. ittedly, most of Enotria's inhabitants are hostile to us, but from time to time we meet allies who share with us valuable information about the game world. In addition, the game is varied by occasional environmental puzzles.
We use cold weapons (such as swords and spears) and ranged weapons (such as crossbows), as well as a variety of combat skills during fights. The duels are dynamic, and during them, as important as constantly staying on the move, performing quick dodges and launching lightning-fast counterattacks, is careful observation of the enemy's movements in search of his weak points and gaps in defense. In addition to serial opponents, from time to time we face much more powerful (both in of strength and size) adversaries, who act here as bosses. As we progress, we develop the protagonist, so we can face more and more challenges over time.
What sets Enotria: The Last Song apart from other soulslike games is the graphics style. Instead of keeping the whole thing in a dark, gloomy tone, the developers made an effort to reflect the specifics of Italian architecture and nature as much as possible. Thus, the game is full of warm colors, and locations, such as densely grassy hills and narrow streets of towns, are bathed in summer sunshine.

Game Ratings for Enotria: The Last Song Video Game.
TheSixthAxis: 7 / 10 by Adrian Burrows
There's a lot of soulslikes out there, but Enotria: The Last Song makes a decent grab for your attention with day-glow brighter than bright visuals and the fresh and engaging setting of Italian mythology. Unfortunately, too many text-boxes and confusing gameplay systems, along with a healthy dose of jankiness, takes the shine off this otherwise colourful soulslike.
DualShockers: 8 / 10 by Callum Marshall
The Last Song is a Souls-like experience that takes a lot of big swings, and while there are a few hiccups along the way, many of these risks pay off.
Checkpoint Gaming: 7 / 10 by Tom Quirk
Enotria: The Last Song is a compelling little soulslike which has enough of its own identity to be worth a recommendation, even if not all of its elements individually work as well. The emphasis on the game's melee combat leaves its magic system a little clunky, and despite an impressive amount of flexibility in the game's RPG mechanics, the ability to swap between different loadouts mid-combat wasn't all that useful. Despite these minor drawbacks, the challenging boss fights, gorgeous art direction and fun exploration make this a worthwhile addition to any soulslike fan's library.
