Both games are 3D hack-and-slash titles, very similar to the Dynasty Warriors series in of gameplay. As we play, we will explore enormous open locations and fight with hordes of enemies. The available heroes have different attacks and special abilities.

Dragon Quest Heroes I & II for SWITCH is a collection of two third-person slashers and Dragon Quest series spin-offs developed by Omega Force, creators of the Dynasty Warriors series on which the spin-offs mechanics are based. First game of the Dragon Quest Heroes series was released in 2015 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Dragon Quest Heroes II was released a year later for the same platforms plus PlayStation Vita. Nintendo Switch versions of both games include all DLCs and exclusive content, and brand new characters and scenarios.

Dragon Quest Heroes is a 3D third-person hack’n’slash. The game’s mechanics are based on the Dynasty Warriors series. We face hundreds of enemies at the same time and travel around vast, open locations. During our adventures we will have to face gigantic bosses that require a bit more tactical approach to be defeated. All available heroes have different attacks, special abilities, and can block or evade the enemies’ attacks. The game has its own story during which we will meet the characters from the main installments of the Dragon Quest games.
