Dakar Desert Rally is a racing game recreating the famous rally. The game takes place in an open world with changing weather conditions and various locations, and an important element of the gameplay is breaking down cars and repairing them.
Dakar Desert Rally is a rally racing game. It was developed by Saber Porto studio, formerly known as Bigmoon Entertainment, the authors of such projects as Trapped Dead: Lockdown.
The game allows you to take part in the famous Dakar off-road rally organized by the Amaury Sport Organization. The authors have obtained all necessary licenses, thanks to which the production features locations, cars, drivers and teams known from real competitions.
Dakar Desert Rally recreates the 2020 and 2021 editions of the rally. Players can play on more than 30 carefully recreated stages within a huge open world.
The game simulates changing seasons and weather conditions, which affects gameplay. Players have to deal with sandstorms, downpours and snowfall, among others. Cars behave differently on the desert sands and differently when driving through deep mud.
During the competition, equipment breakdowns play a key role. The game automatically allocates a limited number of repair points, but we can increase them by towing the broken cars of rivals and helping them get out of dangerous situations. Drivers controlled by the artificial intelligence can also help us in case of need.
Dakar Desert Rally offers both single player and multiplayer modes.
The game features attractive 3D graphics that faithfully reproduces both the locations of the Dakar Rally and the vehicles taking part in it.
