A third installment in a popular series of console racing games, originally launched in 2001 by the British studio Criterion. Burnout 3: Takedown is the biggest game in the series, sporting an impressive set of more than 70 cars, divided into 12 categories, and 40 varied racing tracks on three continents.
The motif of urban carambolas was skillfully used by Criterion, which has been playing "Burnout" games for several years now. Here is the third part, the most extensive position under this sign. Unimaginable speeds, new game modes, even more dangerous and spectacular crashes.
Among the changes and novelties, the "Crash mode" leads, of course, in other words, the mode in which the player's task is to make the biggest possible street crash. Programmers from Criterion studio renamed the whole to "Junctions" and now there will be forty-five locations, with more or less traffic, where players will have to massacre the spirit of guilty civilians. The whole is supposed to resemble what everyone knows from the previous one + everything, of course, much improved, modified, improved - in a word: tuned (e.g. the ability to control the car during the air evolution, or firing explosives to make a huge fuss!).
The ride itself is very aggressive. Crushing the opponent dearly, pushing him under rushing buses, or finally merciless tarnishing by rushing on the so-called "afterburner" (this one is activated now, when the player wants it, and not - as it was the case so far - only when he reaches the maximum level).
In "Burnout 3", as befits a decent sequel, there is more than in previous versions. As there is a car in this position, it seems obvious that the biggest changes concern the cars themselves. There are seventy of them in the whole game.
Players are given the opportunity to race on larger, more varied routes than in the past. A total of forty tracks have been prepared. All of them are characterized by a different landscape, different structure, arrangement, etc. He accompanies on these routes every , deprived of the possibility of playing a network game, computer opponents and ordinary "ers-by".
