A third-person perspective shooter action game, in which the players assume the role of a witch that faces a demonic invasion. In Bullet Witch the players are mostly traveling through locations and exterminating enemies. The latter are sent to hell with guns and powerful combat spells.
Bullet Witch is a third-person perspective shooter with action game features. The title originally debuted on {PLAT} and many years later it was ported to PC by Marvelous Studios.
The story told in Bullet Witch for {PLAT} starts in the year 2013, when the Earth was invaded by the hordes of hell. The humanity was desperately trying to defend the planet, but the resistance couldn’t match the demonic creatures that learned to use Earth’s technology. When all seemed lost, Alicia, a witch in black stood to defend humans. Equipped with a broom-shaped machine gun, the female protagonist declared war against the monsters and restored hope into the hearts of humans.
The action in the {PLAT} version of Bullet Witch is presented from a third-person perspective. During the game, Alicia is traveling through locations and exterminating demons – hordes of regular adversaries and bosses that are larger, stronger and more resistant than the protagonist.
The developers provided various weapons. The above-mentioned machine gun can take four different forms (including a rotating turret) and it can be upgraded with perks. Alicia can also use powerful combat spells. She can summon lightning, tornado, or even meteorites. It is worth adding that the witch isn’t alone and resistance are frequently accompanying her on the battlefield.
The graphics of Bullet Witch were designed by Yasushi Nirasawa, an artist that previously worked on movies like Godzilla: Final Wars, Hellboy, and Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. The PC version of the game includes improvements like higher resolution and better lighting system. The game also works more fluently. The developers improved gameplay balance and included all DLC content in the base game, including levels and costumes.

Game Ratings for Bullet Witch Video Game.
cublikefoot: 3.5 / 10 by Claire Ferrin
The port itself is great, but the underlying game is just bad. The gameplay is dull, the enemy variety and AI is lacking, and the voice acting is just cringy.

Even though it's been over a decade, Bullet Witch hasn't aged as badly as might be expected. There is some creativity in Alicia's skill-set. Summoning ravens and rose spikes lends a pleasing dynamic to combat. Also, reducing an entire city block to rubble just to kill a few demons never gets old. A typical play-through will only take about two-and-a-half hours, but the extra missions and harder difficulties are sufficient reasons to keep playing. Keep in mind, however, that this game is a product of its time, and its most appealing aspects run counter to what gamers take for granted today. Some simply aren't going to enjoy goofing around with physics or explosions, and that's fine.

Bullet Witch is a game that should have been left where it was: forgotten in time. It has some nice ideas, especially in its gameplay, but they are all poorly executed in a muddled plot with mediocre animation, making for a port that no one asked for.
