Blood & Truth is a combination of FPS, spy game and sneaky, using virtual reality technology with PlayStation VR goggles. The author of the game is the London branch of Sony, responsible, among others, for The Getaway series.
After a pretty successful debut of The London Heist, a short yet intense PlayStation VR game, Sony Interactive Entertainment London Studio created Blood & Truth. This interesting mix of stealth, espionage and fully-fledged FPS is available on PS4 and requires virtual reality goggles to work.
Blood & Truth takes us to London's criminal underworld. The main character is Ryan Marks, a versatile Special Forces soldier. After returning from a foreign mission, he decides to take revenge on the gangsters who harmed his family.
The protagonist uses a variety of different traps and gadgets, as well as more traditional weapons. An important part of the gameplay is the spectacular, dynamic firefights done by using two PlayStation Move controllers. We can hide behind covers and use the environment - e.g. trigger an extinguisher to explode and eliminate enemies.
However, it is also important to act quietly - Ryan can sneak, set traps for unaware guards, squeeze through ventilation shafts, open the door with a lockpick, and in the worst case, he can always use a silenced pistol. Direct confrontations are not always necessary - we can also control the surroundings, e.g. with cameras placed on a map.
The graphics in Blood & Truth are impressive, although naturally, due to the limitations of virtual reality technology, we cannot count on visuals equal to those we see in "traditional" titles. The lighting is particularly impressive. The game refers to James Bond's films, both in of style and audio.

Game Ratings for Blood & Truth Video Game.
Destructoid: 7.5 / 10 by Chris Carter
I didn't expect a whole lot from Blood & Truth and came away smiling. No it's not the best showcase for how far the VR industry has come as a whole (especially when the lead tech is a controller released in 2010), but it's the type of popcorn project I'd like to see more of from a major publisher in the space.
Game Informer: 6.5 / 10 by Matthew Kato

Blood & Truth is an exciting shooter with some deft VR touches; its forgettable plot and characters are made up for by the intricate details of its world.
