Beast Quest is an action RPG developed by Miniclip and based on the children's fantasy novels of the same title. The game takes place in the land of Avantia and the players will have to stop an evil sorcerer who used magic to make Avantia's various beasts go feral. The game is shown from a third-person perspective. Exploration and fighting are the gameplay's core elements. Battles take place in real-time.
Beast Quest is an adaptation of a series of youth fantasy novels under the same title. The mobile version is available in a free-to-play model with microtransactions. As for other platforms, it requires a one-time purchase. The game was developed by Miniclip.
The action takes place in the magical fantasy land known as Avantia. The campaign focuses on an evil sorcerer who, with the help of magic, was able to mind-control beasts inhabiting these lands, causing terrible aggression in them. We play the role of a hero who must protect the world from this threat, find a way to heal the beasts and defeat the sorcerer.
The events are observed from the third-person perspective. While playing, we mainly explore the world and fight. The battles are played in real-time and are characterized by the emphasis on the dexterity of the player rather than on the skills of their hero. The game allows us to fight with powerful bosses as well as larger groups of weaker enemies. During the battles, we have limited freedom of movement and instead, we have to focus on selecting the right moment to activate attacks, parring or defending ourselves with a shield. It is also important to combine techniques into longer combinations which increase the amount of damage inflicted.
During the exploration of the world, the player doesn't just fight. Locations hide many secrets and valuable items meaning that a thorough search of each location is rewarded. In addition, the authors have implemented RPG elements such as a system of improving equipment and armament. Also, the hero collects experience points and advances to the next levels.

Game Ratings for Beast Quest Video Game.
Movies Games and Tech: 3 / 10 by Daniel Waite
It always pains me to be so brutal about a game, but when one has no redeeming qualities, and misses the mark on all points, then it wouldn’t be fair to recommend it. Beast Quest had so many opportunities to get the game to a reasonable standard, but it tried and failed repeatedly. If you want an RPG adventure title then look elsewhere, the market has plenty that are leaps and bounds ahead of this. If you want to buy it, you can here! Tom must learn to be a Knight and save humanity and the land of Avantia from the evil Wizard.
Push Square: 3 / 10 by Liam Croft
Beast Quest feels unfinished. Its graphical presentation is put to shame by many PS3 titles, and we're absolutely baffled how the experience doesn't even manage to run at a consistent framerate on the PS4 Pro. But even if these two aspects were up to snuff, the gameplay and plot are still below average. Beast Quest has very little to offer to even the most die-hard fans of the book series, and everyone else is advised to steer well clear.
TheXboxHub: 3 / 5 by Paul Renshaw
Beast Quest does just enough to make you want to keep playing. The story will keep pulling you forward, and the desire to free the beasts and have them on your side is quite strong. However, it isn’t perfect, even bearing in mind its target demographic
