Atelier Yumia The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is a jRPG belonging to a series that started in 1997. The game was developed by Gust studio, which oversees the development of the series, while its release was handled by Koei Tecmo company.
Atelier Yumia The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land takes us to a fantasy world. Alchemy was deemed a bad art here and pushed to the margins, which contributed to the fall of the once mighty Aladissian Empire. The main character of the game is the titular Yumia Liessfeldt, who travels through this picturesque land, trying to solve the mystery of the collapse of the empire, as well as find out why her mother hid the fact that she was an alchemist from her. Other characters the protagonist during her journey.
In Atelier Yumia The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game provides us with an open world consisting of a variety of diverse biomes. When exploring them, we get to know their inhabitants and carry out various quests, as well as engage in clashes with enemies.
Unlike the battles from earlier installments of the series, dynamic fights take place in real time. On the battlefield, the key to success is skillful juggling of character abilities and proper use of two types of attack range.
Along the way, we collect all kinds of resources, which we then use in the process of alchemy, performing synthesis (and the so-called "simple synthesis", available at any point in the game) and crafting equipment useful in combat and exploration. The better materials we use, the higher quality items we can create.
Our command center serves as a base that we can expand as we progress, erecting new buildings and decorating them as we see fit.
The graphic design of Atelier Yumia The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is maintained in a manga style. The character designs were overseen by an artist known as Benitama, whose portfolio includes a number of fantasy games (including the Atelier series).

As a parkour potion princess leaping through her open world, Yumia fills the alchemist role while stretching the mold, offering something new, much like many other aspects of her game. As the Alchemist of Memories, she offers an excellent start to what I hope will continue to be a fun new trilogy, or longer, for Atelier fans to enjoy.
Impulsegamer: 3.3 / 5 by Abdul Saad
All in all, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land introduces many great concepts and features but fails to be wholly entertaining. It contains unnecessarily tedious features and awful performance that will hopefully be fixed post-launch.
