SWAP! is a transfer of classic rules of many popular logic games to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Title Swap is the main rule of the game which consists in swapping the order of blocks in order to destroy them.
Arkedo Series: 02 SWAP!, released on PS3 and X360, was developed by Arkedo Studios.
Just like the cult Tetris Attack, in SWAP!, we have to watch out for blocks falling from the sky. When the whole stage is full of blocks, the game ends. Contrary to the rules known from the classic Tetris, we do not arrange the blocks ourselves but move their individual elements in order to collect at least four of the same color. The game is similar in this respect to the de Pon series, published in the West under Mario and Pokemons licences.
SWAP! offers dynamic, simple gameplay for short but intensive games. The game was released in digital distribution in order to meet the expectations of a large group of players who prefer logical games.
SWAP! has a very simple but aesthetic graphic design featured in many independent games. The main character, a cat, often accompanies the player, cheering on them with rich facial expressions and gestures, which introduces a lot of dynamics to the screen. The game is accompanied by a retro-style soundtrack. The PlayStation 3 version also features Trophies absent on Xbox 360.
