Return of classic Aliens vs. Predator in a version adapted to newer computers. The production includes basic campaigns and additional missions from the later re-edition of the game. In single player mode, each side of the conflict (People, Predators and Aliens) receives more than 10 scenarios. There were also extended options of multi-player games.
Aliens vs. Predator Classic 2000 is a slightly refreshed version of the old release of Aliens vs. Predator Gold from 2000. The work was published, among others, on the Steam platform before the premiere of the new edition of Aliens vs Predator. Rebellion studio is responsible for creating both productions.
The new release is practically the same as the original from many years ago, although it has been modified for faster computers. Thanks to this, the game can be played on virtually any hardware and operating system without any problems. Of course, from the visual point of view the title looks archaic, remaining faithful to the original, which at one time aroused a lot of interest among players.
In the game we play the representatives of three factions: Marines, Aliens and Predators. Each of them has completely different possibilities. The weak soldier uses a flare, night vision, movement detector and a large arsenal of weapons. An alien is an absolute killing machine, equipped with a tail or claws. The high-strength Predator has a crossbow, blades, shoulder cannon and several video filters.
Aliens vs. Predator Classic 2000 are not only basic campaigns from the original game, but also a lot of additional missions from the later edition of Gold. In total, each page receives more than 10 scenarios in which we visit spacecraft, colonies and foreign planetary surfaces. In addition, we have a Skirmish mode, where you can fight alien hordes on several well-known as well as completely new maps.
It is worth mentioning that the game is extremely fast, demanding and requires a lot of reflex. At each level of difficulty we get only a few possibilities to record the state of the game, which further complicates the fun. The basic version of Aliens vs. Predator Classic 2000 lacked an extremely successful network mode, which, however, was added in a later update. The title additionally offers for a pad from Xbox 360.
