A DLC, created by Skybox Labs in cooperation with Forgotten Empires studios, to Age of Mythology: Extended Edition – a remastered version of the classic RTS game from Ensemble Studios. The expansion, named Tale of the Dragon, doesn’t change much in basic game mechanics, which remain the quintessence of real-time strategy with a complex economic aspect.

Age of Mythology: Tale of the Dragon is a PC release of RTS Age of Empires II HD: The Forgotten.

Mechanics

Plugin doesn't dramatically change basic gameplay mechanisms. It is still a classic RTS with an extensive economic layer, in which we collect raw materials, build bases, train armies and fight battles in real time.

The biggest novelty it offers Tale of the Dragon is the introduction of the playable Chinese fraction. Of course, apart from the standard units, she received her own, unique fantastic beings, based on the mythology of the Middle Kingdom. In addition, all other armies also received several additional units each.

Age of Mythology: Tale of the Dragon requires a full version Age of Mythology: Extended Edition. The add-on is not compatible with the original version of Age of Mythology from 2002.
