A Quiet Place is a horror game inspired by the popular film series. The players' task is to survive in a world overrun by blind alien predators who use mainly their sense of hearing when hunting humans.
A Quiet Place is a horror action adventure game with strong stealth elements. The project was developed by Illogika studio, known from Subaeria. According to the title, the game is based on the popular horror film series A Quiet Place by Paramount Pictures.
It is set in the same world as the cinematic series, but tells a completely new story. The action begins some time after human civilization collapsed due to the invasion of alien predators. The beasts came to Earth in an asteroid and, having survived its collision with the planet's surface, they set out on a hunt, killing everything on their way.
As in the movie, sounds are a key element of the gameplay. The alien predators are blind and orient themselves in their surroundings using mainly their hearing. The beasts are almost indestructible, so most of the game is spent on avoiding confrontations with them, which requires moving silently and avoiding everything that could violate the silence.
A Quiet Place offers only single player mode.

Game Ratings for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead Video Game.
Pure Xbox: 7 / 10 by Ben Kerry
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead delivers plenty of spooks throughout its roughly eight-hour adventure, but it does run out of ideas somewhat during the back half of that runtime. When called upon, the cast is well-acted (even if the story is quite threadbare) and the whole thing does enough to cement itself as a worthy entry in the 'A Quiet Place' universe, which is a nice achievement for Stormind Games. Some more late-game variety and additional options for dealing with the enemy could have made this a horror great, but as it stands, The Road Ahead is just a decent romp through what's becoming quite a popular movie universe. Horror game aficionados and A Quiet Place superfans should definitely consider this one, but for those less experienced, there are better options out there on the horror game market.
Push Square: 7 / 10 by Echo Apsey
Despite this, the game does a fantastic job of immersing you in this terrifying and deadly world, especially with the live mic feature that captures your audio as you play, which can alert the creatures. There's a fantastic set of features and foundation here that we'd love to see built upon in a sequel, as the A Quiet Place franchise is a great fit with games.
Wccftech: 4.5 / 10 by Chris Wray
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a game with interesting ideas, looking to build on the success of the films, but falls flat with level design and certain mechanics breaking, rather than enhancing, immersion. With clear signs of what could have been really good, a few slips hold the game back.
