Maintained in spying climates, an unusual racing game, in which instead of struggling on the track players perform missions referring to the adventures of Agent 007.
Dedicated to fans of a series of adventures about the famous Agent of Her Majesty, the game enables us to sit behind the wheel of the most famous vehicles of James Bond and take part in a number of demanding missions. The title was developed by Eutechnyx, a studio specializing in racing games, creators such titles as Test Drive Le Mans and F1 World Grand Prix: 1999 Season.
One of Europe's diplomats, who also happens to own several car factories, is planning to steal NATO weapon stocks and hand them over to terrorists. James Bond tries to stop him. Sitting at the helm of cars equipped with various gadgets and weapons designed by Q, he visits various places in different parts of the globe, trying to thwart the criminal's plans.
In the game, the players take control of the most famous cars presented in the movies about the adventures of Agent 007, including Lotus Esprit, BMW Z8 and Aston Martin DB5. According to the movie convention, each of them is equipped with weapons and gadgets, such as smokescreen or Hellfire rockets, with which the player can eliminate obstacles and enemies they encounter. The creators have prepared a dozen or so maps in different sceneries, some of which have the formula of closed corridors on which one rushes from point A to point B, while others allow for free sightseeing of a given area in search of indicated goals.
In addition to the standard game mode, in which the player faces the subsequent levels and learns about the story prepared by the scriptwriters, 007 Racing also enables us to play in the multiplayer module. As a two-player option, they can compete in a deathmatch against each other, fighting behind the wheel of vehicles known from the film universe. You can also choose the " a bomb" mode, in which you have to hand over an explosive charge to the opponent before the time runs out.
The creators of the game used images of a number of characters known from the film saga. The players encounter, among other persons, Q, the man responsible for 007's equipment, whose voice is provided by John Cleese, playing the character in the movies, the powerful Jaws or the crafty Xenia Onatopp.
