One of the games designed to encourage players to opt for PlayStation 5 on launch will be the remake of Demon's Souls, the classic that started the wildly popular and hugely influential Dark Souls series. Bluepoint Games studio, who delivered a successful remake of Shadow of the Colossus, are in charge of creating this remaster.
The new version looks brilliant at first glance, but fans will be expecting all the core elements to remain as close to the original as possible. But it seems there's nothing to worry about: it seems we're again getting the hallmark combat system that will punish the slightest mistake with immediate death. With the souls collected from defeated opponents, though, we'll be able to develop the character, and new equipment.

Fans of the original, as well as people who never had a chance to play the original, but have since become fans of Souls.
