New Game From Disco Elysium Devs Could Take Us Into Space

Studio ZA/UM, the creators of the excellent RPG Disco Elysium, is working on a new game, which may not necessarily be a sequel to that 2019 hit. For it is possible that the new game will take us into space.

In March 2022 stated in an interview with GamingBolt that its creation is practically certain.

Fresh job ment at the UK headquarters of ZA/UM suggests, however, that the developer is working on a completely different game - or is developing two games simultaneously (it's possible, since the number of people employed by the company is already approx. 65 and still growing). Indeed, the company is looking for a concept artist "with a talent for visualizing the extraordinary, a ion for visual storytelling, experience in creating and developing inspiring concepts," and "a love of science fiction and space."

The offer goes on to say that one of the duties of the person hired will be to deg outerworldly environments, buildings and interiors that fit a science fiction universe. So it's hard to suppose that this description points to a sequel to Disco Elysium. However, whatever ZA/UM is making, it's worth keeping an eye on.
