Who is BB Urich from Daredevil: Born Again?
BB Urich is a young reporter who runs her own show, BB Report, parts of which have been shown since the first episode of Daredevil: Born Again. In them, we see her interest in the current situation in New York City, the rising crime rate in Daredevil's absence, and the rising to power Wilson Fisk, to whom she pays particular attention.
The interest in Fisk may be due to the fact that BB will want to continue the work of her uncle Ben Urich by revealing the truth about the new mayor of New York. BB has efficiently gained access to the Kingpin himself, approaching Daniel Blake, a close associate of Fisk, with whom she shares a “friendship with political benefits.”
Who is Ben Urich from Marvel's Daredevil?
Fans of Marvel's Daredevil, which was available on Netflix, are surely well aware of Ben Urich, the investigative journalist who worked with Karen Page to uncover the truth about crimes in Hell's Kitchen, which led to the arrest of several prominent figures. He also was looking into Wilson Fisk, producing an extensive report on his criminal activities, however, before he could reveal to the people of New York who Fisk really is, the hero of his report paid him a visit. And this one ended tragically, as the Kingpin murdered Urich in his own home.
One thing is certain – we can expect more BB Urich and BB Report in Daredevil: Born Again. And she's not the only one keeping an eye on Fisk, because as episode 2 of the series showed, he's going to keep an eye on her, too.
