Without a doubt Nexon tries to cover all angles of gaming industry. They release games from various genres. Not so long ago we had a chance to play Vindictus: Defying Fate is an action RPG, in which players fight against powerful opponents. PC owners have a chance to check out this production thanks to the ongoing Alpha Test. What about people who own consoles? Let’s look at it.

Console release and Alpha tests of Vindictus Defying Fate

Let’s start with bad news. Vindictus Defying Fate Alpha Test is not available on consoles. However, it does not mean that the game will not be released on PlayStation and Xbox. In the FAQ published on the official Discord channel, Nexon has confirmed that ports are being developed. They plan to release all versions at the same time.

A: Playing on consoles is not ed during the Alpha Test.

We are currently developing the game with the goal of releasing it on consoles at the time of the official launch.

So, how long will we have to wait for the official premiere? Sadly, we do not know. Developers have not shared this information yet. We may only guess that the ongoing test will have the major impact on the release date of Vindictus Defying Fate.

At this point we know that the game will be available on consoles but it is difficult to say on what platforms precisely. Owners of PS5 and Xbox Series X / S are probably safe, as Nexon ported games to these devices in the past. In the case of PS4 and Xbox One, the situation is more complicated. The First Descendant is playable on them but The First Berserker: Khazan has been never ported. It all depends on how much power the new game will need finally.
