Valheim and Minecraft veterans announce Romestead. This survival city builder aims to restore the glory of Rome
Romestead will hit the market thanks to a company that includes Minecraft, Valheim, and Deep Rock Galactic veterans.

Veterans of Valheim have ed forces and presented the first game they will help in releasing: Romestead.
Three Friends is a team of game veterans with a single goal: to mainly Swedish and "Nordic" developers, offering not just financial backing, but also guidance and advocating a "gameplay first" philosophy.
Romestead from Beartwigs Studio (which focuses on experiments with retro style and pixel art) is a mix of a survival game and a city builder. The goal of the game is to develop a Roman settlement, constructed on the remnants of civilization in a wonder-filled world, consisting of 6 biomes each with unique challenges. Dungeon crawler elements will also be present, featuring bosses that will require players to armor up and fortify in anticipation of battles with these formidable foes.
The game will also feature a faith system, where worshipping selected deities from the Roman pantheon by completing tasks will provide access to unique upgrades, as well as co-op mode.
Romestead is heading for early access on PC. No release date yet.
