This PvE MMORPG Will Soon be Free to Play for 3 Weeks
On the occasion of the first anniversary of the release of Embers Adrift, players will be given the opportunity to test the MMORPG completely free of charge. The developers have also planned many other attractions.

In just a few days, Embers Adrift will celebrate its first anniversary. The studio responsible for the title, Stormhaven, has announced a special event, during which anyone willing will be able to play this MMORPG for free for an extended period of time..
There will be plenty of time to try out the aforementioned MMORPG - the celebration will last from October 13 to November 5..
However, this is not the only attraction prepared for players. From the information provided by the developers, we learn that waiting for the community will be, among other things:
- a welcome event in the game,
- special streams, during which it will be possible to talk to the developers,
- occasional tournaments,
- a fireworks show;
- something that is being referred to as... a naked race (sounds intriguing).
You can read the full list of scheduled events here.
Keep in mind, however, that in order to take part in the fun, you need the base game, which you can purchase only on the official website (the game is not available on Steam). Embers Adrift is currently discounted and costs $29.99 (the normal price is $39.99).
The developers also offer an optional paid subscription, costing $9.99 per month. It provides additional character slots, emotes and a portable crafting station. All of these features will be made available to players free of charge for the next three weeks.

Embers Adrift - a handful of information
Now that the official part is over, we can tell you a bit about the game itself. Well, Embers Adrift is a low-fantasy MMORPG emphasizing group experience. The developers point out that their game - although it offers arenas where players can try their hand at fighting other players - is not a typical online PvP MMO.
Besides, unlike other such games, Embers Adrift lacks a minimap, markers or auto-tracker - the interface is kept to a minimum.
"Inspired by classic MMORPGs and tabletop games, we wanted to provide players with a complete experience. While many modern MMO games rely on convenience, Embers Adrift seeks a balance while respecting players' time and providing an immersive experience," inform the developers from Stormheaven Studios.
In the character creator, the player selects one of three available classes: Defender, Attacker or er. On the other hand, when the character advances to level 6, we can add a second specialization (choosing from the same types).
The gameplay in Embers Adrift is based on performing various tasks, which are appropriately woven into the game's plot. Along the way, players encounter many obstacles, such as bosses that appear from time to time.
Embers Adrift was developed for PC and iOS and Android mobile devices.
