This little courier game just hit the Overwhelmingly Positive mark on Steam. Easy Delivery Co. won people over with its mysterious vibe

The Easy Delivery Co. demo has been out for almost a month, and it's already pulled in overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam. It’s hard to put into words exactly what makes this game so instantly appealing – it just clicks. You’re better off just jumping in and seeing for yourself.

Chill mystery on wheels

Both the solo developer, Sam C, and the publisher, Oro Interactive, shared the good news on X, with Sam even saying, “I’m blown away by the positive reception to this little idea I had one day.”

Everyone sums up Easy Delivery Co. demo in just a couple of words: chill and cozy. And yeah, that’s totally true – but also kind of selling it short. Sure, it’s cozy (I mean, that snowy mountain landscape with the soft, moody lighting is chef’s kiss) and definitely chill – the gameplay’s super laid-back, and the soundtrack is an absolute banger that’s been living rent-free in my head. But there’s so much more to it. The quirky characters and that hint of mystery give it this unique vibe that’s hard to pin down but really sticks with you.

What I really love about this game is how you’re kind of thrown in without much direction. You don’t know what you’re doing at first, but that’s part of the charm. Nothing’s too complex, so you just start messing around, picking up the controls and figuring out the quests as you go. You start by driving your car, head to the marked spot, take a second to how to get out of it – suddenly there’s this weird guy chilling by a fire. So of course, you have to see what he’s about.

And yes, you’re delivering goods, like this poor flower that’s 100% going to freeze in the back of my car, but I’ve got bigger problems. Like this massive pile of snow. I’m definitely not getting through… even though I’ll still try a few times, just in case. But wait, there’s that guy by the campfire again. Maybe I’ll ask him for guidance, he looks so wise.

And that’s it, I’m not going to tell you more, you just need to try it for yourself. The visuals totally give off that PS1-style vibe, but personally, it reminds me a bit of Webfishing. Still, there’s more going on here than just collecting fish. There’s a strange little world unfolding, and it’s worth discovering on your own.
