The Blood of Dawnwalker devs say that in their new game romance and magic will be „more down-to-earth”
Magic in The Blood of Dawnwalker will be more down-to-earth and less flashy than what we know from other fantasy games. We also learned that the game won't lack romances.

New information was obtained through the FAQ provided on the official Discord server of the game. Many questions were addressed, with one of the most intriguing being about magic. The devs conveyed that it will be less spectacular than the one used in "pure fantasy" and quite rarely encountered. It will focus on occultism - rituals, amulets, relics, and invocations, not on classic fireballs or lightning.
One of the examples was given by the game director and founder of Rebel Wolves studio, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, in an interview conducted by our editorial team (the translation below comes from the interview conducted by GRYOnline.pl).
The magic here is very down-to-earth—it mimics real illnesses a bit. For instance, you can cast a spell on an opponent that causes an epileptic seizure.
Fans of romance will certainly be pleased with the fact that this element will also not be missing in The Blood of Dawnwalker. During his adventure, Coen will meet characters with whom he will be able to form deeper relationships, however, Rebel Wolves hasn't yet provided any details. We will learn more about this topic "closer to the release."
The Blood of Dawnwalker is heading to PC, PS5, and XSX/X. Unfortunately, we don't know the release date yet.
