EA Made a Fortune on Star Wars Games
EA has revealed the sales results of its Star Wars games. They are impressive, both in of the number of sold copies sold and generated revenue.

Of particular note is the mobile game Star Wars : Galaxy of Heroes, which has generated over $1 billion in revenue through microtransaction in the five years since its release. It's no surprise, then, that Electronic Arts intends to keep increasing its investments in smartphone and tablet games.
For the past few years, EA has had an exclusive license to develop games using the Star Wars license. Recently we learned that this agreement with Disney will Ubisoft is planning such a title - it will be an open-world game developed by Massive.
Electronic Arts, however, does not intend to stop creating Star Wars titles. The company will only lose the exclusive rights to this brand.
For now, we do not know what other games using this license are planned by EA. also indications that work is underway on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2.
