Sovereign Syndicate is an RPG set in a universe combining elements of steampunk and fantasy. When deg the game, the authors were heavily inspired by Disco Elysium, adding a handful of ideas from the Baldur's Gate series, too. The game puts a lot of emphasis on freedom of action and a non-linear plot, and characters in the world. You will not find a classic combat system here. Instead, the skirmishes take the form of a series of choices and their consequences shown through comic-book s. Furthermore, aspects of our character, such as their gender, race, appearance or previous decisions, affect interactions with all NPCs.
