Rainbow Six Mobile With 17 Million ed Players Before Release
Ubisoft has reasons to be pleased. The interest in the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Mobile before its release is impressive.

Ubisoft is busily preparing for the worldwide launch of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Mobile. The publisher boasted that more than 17 million people have already pre-ed for the game on Android alone.
Currently, the game is only available in Canada and Mexico, but is expected to launch in more countries imminently during new phases of release.
Ubisoft describes Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Mobile as their "first AAA mobile game." The game is being handled by an experienced team from Ubisoft Montreal, with additional provided by studios in Winnipeg, Bucharest, Kiev, Shanghai and several other cities.
The game's main gameplay mode is 5-on-5 PvP matches, and the game draws much from Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, available on PC and consoles, but in the mobile installment of the brand the matches are much shorter - lasting about 8-12 minutes.
First-person shooters are one of the most popular and profitable game genres in the mobile market, so it's no surprise that Ubisoft wants to grab a share of this pie for itself. Nevertheless, achieving this will not be easy, as Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Mobile will be up against such powerhouses as PUBG Mobile or Call of Duty: Mobile, which have generated $10 billion and $3 billion in revenue to date, respectively.
