The latest update for PlayStation 5 and the DualSense controller, to version 21.01-03.20.00, doesn't really introduce any revolutions - neither in the interface of the console nor in the gamepad itself. Sony prepared a short list of changes. Corrections are aimed to improve the experience of daily use of the PS5.
PS5 and DualSense Update 21.01-03.20.00 Notes:
- Update improves PS5 system performance and DualSense controller stability;
- Fixes an issue where the functionality of some screens is reduced when using the screen reader;
- From now on, games hidden on PS4 will also be invisible on the next-gen console;
- Copying games from a flash drive to the device's memory in the game library is now more stable;
Particularly noteworthy is the note about improving the operation of the gamepad, which caused problems for players around the world since the launch of the PS5. As noted by s on Reddit, the bug regarding the controller's battery level display is no longer present. And that's probably the biggest plus of this update.
