Overwatch 2 Not Coming Out in 2022? New Speculations
As reported by one of the insiders associated with Overwatch 2, all indications are that Blizzard's game will not be released in 2022.
Last week it was announced that development milestone and everything is going in the right direction. However, it is possible that the situation is not good enough for the sequel to the popular hero shooter to be released anytime soon. As reported by one of the insiders associated with Overwatch 2, "it is unlikely that the game will be released in 2022".
The insider, known as Metro_OW, appears to be a trustworthy source; this isn't scandal with harassment and mobbing in the background. In light of this information, we can expect Overwatch 2 will not be released until 2023.
Despite the fact that the launch is still far away, we already know quite a bit about the game itself. The sequel to Overwatch will have a co-op mode focused more on PvE. The classic PvP mode will undergo some changes: the size of teams will be reduced from six to five players, and the roles in the team will be more strictly defined - all in order to avoid chaos during actual gameplay. Overwatch 2 will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
