Netflix: Kim Bodnia Plays Vesemir in The Witcher S2
Netflix finally introduced the actor who will play Vesemir in season 2 of The Witcher. An information appeared on the official Twitter of the platform that Kim Bodnia will play Geralt's mentor in season 2.

- Netflix officially presented the actor who will play the role of Vesemir in The Witcher.
- The mentor and the oldest living witcher will be played by Kim Bodnia, the star of the Bron / Broen series.
- Thus, the speculation of fans and reports about Mark Hamill, among others, getting the role has ended.
Finally, we lived to see it - Netflix revealed who will play the role of Vesemir, the main character's mentor in The Witcher. After the rejection of the proposal by Mads Mikkelsen and Michael Keaton, the creators had to find another solution. And so the 'new' Vesemir will be Kim Bodnia, whom you may from productions such as Bron / Broen or Killing Eve. Netflix boasted the new cast via Twitter.
A short description on the photo calls Vesemir the oldest and most experienced witcher in season 2 of the series. And I guess it's hard not to agree, because anyone who has at least brushed against the world created by Andrzej Sapkowski knows perfectly well that Vesemir was the mentor for the rest of the monster hunters from the Wolf School - including Lambert and Coen, who will also appear in the series. The fact that Kim Bodnia ed the cast was also celebrated by Lauren S. Hissrich, who has written on Twitter:
"One part killer, one part Dad. So excited to welcome Kim Bodnia to the Continent!"
It is worth mentioning that about a week ago the start of the filming of season 2 of the show was officially confirmed. Other actors and actresses who will the cast were also confirmed. Among them photos from the set that reveal the fate of some important sorceresses (attention, spoilers). We are looking forward to the premiere of season 2, which is scheduled for 2021.
