Netflix Confirms The Witcher Season Two
Even before the premiere of the first episode of The Witcher, Netflix announced that it is starting the production of the show's second season. The cast and film crew of the series remain unchanged. According to the producers' plans, more episodes of The Witcher will air in 2021.

Fans of Andrzej Sapkowski's prose are counting down the days until the premiere of the first season of The Witcher, which ed by scriptwriters profiles found on the web. The production of the second season will start at full speed at the beginning of 2020 in London. However, the viewers will wait until 2021 for the final effect of the crew's works.
As far as the second season's production team is concerned, it hasn't changed in any way. The team of scriptwriters and filmmakers is still headed by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich (Power, Daredevil and The Umbrella Academy), who commented on today's announcement as follows:
"I'm so thrilled that before fans have even seen our first season, we are able to confirm that we'll be returning to The Continent again to continue telling the stories of Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri, and to showcase more of the amazing work that our cast and crew have delivered," Hissrich said.
Apart from Hissrich, the executive producers will be: Tomasz Baginski, Jason F. Brown, Sean Daniel, Mike Ostrowski, Steve Gaub and Jaroslaw Sawko. Actors from the cast, such as Henry Cavill (Geralt of Rivia), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer) and Freya Allan (Ciri), will also return. Together with the announcement, Netflix also published the first promo graphics of the second series presenting two witcher swords. Interestingly, according to the initial plans of the producers, The Witcher can look forward to Andrzej Sapkowski strongly believes that they will achieve success comparable to Game of Thrones.
