Netflix Confirms It is Entering the Gaming Industry
Netflix has officially confirmed that it is entering the video game market. Initially, the company will focus on developing mobile games.

Last week, we reported that Netflix was planning to enter the gaming industry. To that end, the company Stranger Things series or an episode of Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. New games will be available as part of Netflix subscription and we won't have to pay extra for them. What is important, the American company first intends to focus on mobile productions.
In a letter to their shareholders, Netflix representatives write that they see video games as another creative category, similar to movies or animation.
“We’re excited as ever about our movies and TV series offering and we expect a long runway of increasing investment and growth across all of our existing content categories, but since we are nearly a decade into our push into original programming, we think the time is right to learn more about how our value games.”
According to Bloomberg, Netflix is now looking to hire people from the digital entertainment industry, but the company has reportedly not yet decided on a specific game development strategy.
