Action adventure horror Into the Dead Our Darkest Days is available in early access. So, you can check it out on PC and try to survive the zombie apocalypse. What about other players on PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch, though? When will they be able to test this title?
Into the Dead Our Darkest Days – Console (PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch 2) Release Explained
Into the Dead Our Darkest Days was released in early access today (April 10, 2025). The game is available only on PC (via Steam). So, if you want to play it right now, you won't have many options. However, this will probably change in the future. In FAQ on the official Discord server, developers announced that they plan to release their production on consoles, but they are focusing on computers in the first place.
So, probably the game will be ported after 1.0 version premiere. Take into that the developers plan to keep the game in early access for 12-18 months. It means that you have to be patient.
Unfortunately, creators didn’t specify on which platforms Into the Dead Our Darkest Days will be available. So, we can only speculate. It’s almost certain that the game will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Even the Switch 2 seems probable. On the other hand, owners of the older hardware like Switch, PS4 and Xbox One can’t be certain that after early access, they will get their versions. However, it is not impossible, as new games are still launched on older generations.
The good news is that the system requirements are not that high. So, Into the Dead Our Darkest Days should work even on older PC. Additionally, you can check the demo on Steam. This will allow you to judge whether the game is working properly on your PC or not.
