Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut and Iki Island DLC Announced; Release in August
Sony and Sucker Punch confirmed the release of Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut. The title will launch in August on PS4 and PS5 and will include, among other things, a single-player DLC titled Iki Island.

The single-player expansion's main attraction will be a story campaign that takes us to the titular Iki Island - a completely new area to explore, where we will encounter new. Jin will head there to check out the rumored presence of the Mongols, but quickly becomes embroiled in personal circumstances that will force him to relive his traumatic past. More information is expected to be revealed soon. Owners of both Japanese consoles can also expect to find the Japanese mythology-inspired DLC, titled Legends, on the disc, offering online co-op for up to four players which, while free, until now has had to be ed from the internet.
The rest of the changes offered by Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut is coming exclusively to PS5. Those lucky enough to have it can expect mainly improved visuals - the title is to offer 4K resolution while aiming for 60 fps. The game will also make use of the DualSense controller's haptic vibrations and adaptive triggers. Those of you who prefer to play Japanese games in their native language will be pleased to know that the director's cut of Ghost of Tsushima will have lip-sync added.
More about Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut will probably be revealed during the next State of Play, which will supposedly take place on July 8. It is also possible that the game will be announced for PC - rumors on this subject have been circulating for quite some time.
