Galactic Civilizations 4 Announcement and First Trailer
After almost 6 years since the release of Galactic Civilizations 3, devs at Stardock announced the fourth installment of the space strategy. At the same time, the creator of the series itted that the previous game wasn't perfect.

Stardock, the studio responsible for the Galactic Civilizations series announced that works on the fourth installment of the 4X space strategy game have begun. The first short trailer is available below.
In the first post on the game's official website the game's creator and director of the company Brad Wardell Stellaris.
Because of this, the next game is expected to be perfect, as the studio has the tools to make it so and has learned from the development of the third installment. In the fourth installment the emphasis will be put on NPCs, who are to be more than just pawns on the space map. In addition, the situation will be influenced by many more factors and mechanics that will take at least a few playthroughs to master. At the same time, the rules of GCIV are supposed to be easy to understand.
The previous installment was released on May 14, 2015 and is still receiving from the developers. Recently, the devs announced the next update, which is expected to come out to celebrate the sixth anniversary of Galactic Civilizations III's release.
