DSOGaming reports that RevTeam is planning to release 2 new trailers and a demo version of the game later this year. The results of their work so far can be followed on the team's official channel on YouTube. At this point, the group is polishing the graphics and scripts. This is certainly not an easy task, especially since all the missions, as well as characters and weapons known from the original version are to appear in the remaster.

On paper it looks very good, but I would warn against getting overly optimistic, because the future of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 2 is not so certain. It's not easy to keep the enthusiasm and motivation on the same level for several years when working on a fan project. This is well illustrated by the situation from August this year, when Andrey Lisicin, the main designer of the remaster, GTA series, can easily block the project and will probably sooner or later play this card.
Let us also remind that Vice City may yet return to our screens in the future thanks to Rockstar Games itself. According to some rumors, the city GTA VI, and one of the fans has even prepared a possible map of the area.
