Day of Infamy free weekend and a new map incoming
WWII team-based shooter Day of Infamy is going to be free over this weekend, starting from Thursday. In time for that event also comes the new map Brittany.
Day of Infamy, one of the recent online World War II shooters, is inviting new players to the fight over this weekend at no cost. The free period starts on Thursday October 12 at 1 P.M. EST and runs through Monday October 16 at 1 P.M. EST, announced New World Interactive on their official website. Additionally, both new and existing players will be earning double experience points during that time, which is another good reason to play the game this weekend.
The free weekend coincides with the release of a new free content update, which is going to introduce a new map for multiplayer (Brittany) as well as a shooting range for the sandbox mode. The patch also includes several new features, such as in-game foliage editing tools, or the hint system for beginners, as well as a bunch of improvements and bug fixes. You can read more about that in the latest Steam news.
