Cyberpunk 2077 Will Enable Us to Personalize Our Genitals
The American age rating organisation ESRB has rated Cyberpunk 2077. The title's in the database entry also reveals that the character's personalization options will include the ability to adjust the appearance and size of genitals.

Cyberpunk is definitely not one of the science fiction genres recommended for younger players. So no one was surprised by the recent reports about the content of Cyberpunk 2077, which would apparently suffice for several 18+ games. More details are revealed by the entry in ESRB's database, which rated the game M for Mature (i.e. for people aged 17 and over).
In fact, the description of the American agency repeats everything we have heard from other sources. So we have significant sexualization, mutilated corpses, blood and clearly visible presence of drugs, etc. What is new is the mention of a certain drastic scene involving nails, which, to put it mildly, would in itself justify the earlier information about "violence". However, the most interesting mention concerns the character creation. Players will be able to adjust the gender of their avatar, which includes the choice of breasts, buttocks and genitals in different shapes and sizes.
This description may confirm previous reports on this element of character creation. Already after the E3 2019 presentation, CD Projekt RED was confirmed by Max Pears, the game's level designer, in September 2019: players will be able to freely combine male and female voices and silhouettes, although the genitals will be defined by a specific body type.
It is no secret that the Polish developer is keen to faithfully convey the dirty cyberpunk vibes (to pull the players beyond their comfort zone), and this picture would not be complete without reference to gender ideology. After all, in the world of free cybernetic implants and modifying one's own body, gender is as relative as morality or humanity.
Fortunately, we can expect Cyberpunk 2077 to do more than just shock with drastic and controversial scenes. Other sources yesterday's announcement of Night City Wire, which hopefully may bring us a presentation of the game next month.
